Rangers of the order are the elite battle hardened soldiers of the Metro. They have no fear and are known to scour and wander the wasteland above for supplies for the Metro. Rangers are known to move on there own or in small squads, this maximizes the number of roles the Rangers can perform, these roles range from close protection of V.I.P's, simple supply missions, defending trade caravans or even guarding the main gate to Polis.

However to become a Ranger is not a easy task, one must first prove there worth to a Veteran ranger, they must then apprentice with him as he teaches him skills and how to survive in the Metro, the Veteran ranger will then hand his apprentice to a younger Ranger and allow them to move as a team, after there worth has been proven they are free to act on there own or join a squad or even make a new squad.

Rangers have access to awesome military grade weapons and armour, giving them a edge over there opponent, however they should not grow cocky as there fewer numbers and smaller groups can easily lead to there encirclement and destruction. Many a ranger has met there fate the is way.
